I so want to go romping in Msia one day !In fishing terms, romping means hunting for sailfish( i think lol ). It will cost around 400-500 for the trip ? But it doesnt include tidbits and other stuffs. Furthermore, the fishing tackles needed aren't cheap... But the fight is totally amazing and the experience is out of this world ! It's intial burst was beresk and my friend described it as ' an aeroplane in the water '. His reel's drag was sounding non stop, with lines peeling out like crazy. ( He showed me the video on his camera thats why i can say this ) This is the life !  Cobia mama!  The waters are way clear and there are even squids in clear day light ! ( unlike Sg ) However, he claims that the jetty wasn't properly developed. He grab hold of a structure on the platform to board the boat and it gave way ! He nearly fell into the sea.  It isn't about the insufficent money as there are people from practically all over the world to goes there for romping. We guessed that it should be a case of bribery all that in the Government. Though i haven't got the money to go romping outside Singapore, I did go for a local offshore trip. It's a first for me as i always go on luring;( fishing with plastics, metals or rubbers that resembles baitfish that needs constant twitching to make it look alive and to entice a predator fish to whack it for the ultimate thrill, a good lure doesn't come cheap though )trips! The reason we aren't using lures because for a boat trip, its more sensible to use baits like live prawns or dead prawns as it will entice the fish to bite faster. Fishes caught are released. We are anglers who fish for solely the thrill not the meat. Lost a big unknown fish though.
